SCENIC COASTAL CRUISES AND GREAT SUNSETS
The eastern coastline of Trotternish is one of the most dramatic features of the Isle of Skye.
Trips pass round the eastern shores of Flodigarry Island with its dramatic outline of steep cliffs on the seaward side. The boat then heads south for a visit to the amazing Kilt Rock - a long section of cliffs composed of hexagonal basalt columns. This is seen to best advantage from the water. One column detached from the main cliff has been ascended by expert climbers. Beside the Kilt Rock are the Mealt Falls, an impressive cascade falling directly to the sea.
